Warhammer Total War - General Battlefield Speeches
Write a battlefield speech for a Chaos Lord fighting against a Bretonnian army. The Chaos army is outnumbered but has recently added a unit of Daemons to its ranks. The Bretonnian army has enjoyed several consecutive victories but has never faced Chaos before and has no Wizard.
Warriors of the Ruinous Powers, hear me now! We stand on the threshold of a magnificent victory. This pitiful army of peasants and knights have grown fat from their recent victories, and now, they dare to face us upon the battlefield. WHAT FOOLS! WHAT DELUSION! This rabble has never faced the might of the Chaos Gods, they have never felt real terror, they have never stood against true power! They are nothing, nothing but ants that scurry away from the shadow of the Dark Gods!
We may be outnumbered, but we have the strength of Chaos on our side. Behold our new demonic allies and the wondrous carnage they will unleash. Relish the sight of our fallen enemies, as we trample them beneath our might, and fear not the enemy casters, for the fools have brought none to the battlefield!
So let us go forth, servants of Chaos! Let them know that we are the harbingers of their destruction, the lords of their doom and the conquerors of their very souls! Paint the battlefield red with their blood, and fight with all of your strength, for the Chaos Gods demand nothing less than our absolute devotion!

Historical Total War - General Battlefield Speeches
Write a short general’s battlefield speech for each of the following situations:
a) An outnumbered archer-heavy Chinese army facing an attacking rebel army.
Soldiers of China, hear me now! Yes, we may stand outnumbered but do not be disheartened! For what use are numbers against our cohorts of archers? We will darken the skies, and remind these rebels that they cannot take what is rightfully ours! What lies before us but a confused rabble? What hope do they have against the might of the Chinese army? So stand tall and take heart, sons of China, for we have faced far greater challenges than this and emerged victorious!
b) A powerful British army assaulting a minor settlement in the tropics
Sons of the Empire. Before us lies an enemy holdout - a small but critical settlement that should pose no challenge to our military superiority! Do not be fooled by its humble appearance, for this settlement is a vital stepping stone in our path to global dominance! I know that these tropics are a far cry from our dear homeland, but remember... Britain is more than an island, more than a nation - it is a belief that unites its people, that unites us! So ready your arms and charge forth my soldiers, let us greet our enemies with the wrath of the Empire!
c) A Spanish force ambushing a Hungarian army in the forest.
Spaniards, listen well! Our foes approach, confident in their strength and knowledge of this forest. What carelessness! I have hunted hares more clever than these Hungarians, for the fools walk blindly into our trap! And when they stumble into our clutches, we will show them the true meaning of Spanish steel, though they will not live long enough to remember it! Paint the forest red with the blood of these Hungarian dogs, and know that today’s victory will ring throughout the ages as a testament to the strength, skill and courage of the Spanish army.
