In-Game Descriptions adapted for Warhammer Total War

1. Item Descriptions

Write 20-word descriptions for any three magic items or followers that might be dropped by a defeated Chaos Lord.

Amulet of Lost Souls -
The wails of countless trapped souls resonate within this amulet, crying out for release.

Hungering Blade - Rumour has it that a shard from the Blood God's Throne lies within this blade, emanating an aura of bloodlust.

Putrid Hammer - A deadly hammer, carved out of a tooth of a Great Unclean One. Its vile rot still lies upon it.



2. Building Descriptions

Write a 20 word description for the following buildings:

a) A Lagoon of Drowned Sailors, from which the Vampire Coast can recruit Zombie Deckhands.


Amidst murky waters, corpses of sailors await a captain’s call, until their time comes to join the undead fleet.

b) A Plague Church, which increases the spread of Skaven Corruption.

The Plague Church looms tall, a festering haven of filth, decay and disease, fuelling the insidious spread of Skaven corruption.

c) An Insect Farm, which increases food and growth in Lizardmen settlements. 

Teeming with buzzing life, these farms hum with vitality, providing a steady stream of sustenance for the Lizardmen settlements.

d) An Elven Workshop, allowing the High Elves to equip their troops with better gear.

The intricate designs of High Elven armaments sometimes raise questions among their foes, though these sceptics are often silenced swiftly.

1. Technology Descriptions

Write a very short (<25 word) description for the following in-game technologies:


a) Bureaucracy

Bureaucracy may not sound exciting, but it's the backbone of any successful empire. It ensures effective resource allocation and smooth operations.

b) Separation of Church and State
Religion is a personal matter, and there is no place for holy armies or divine laws in modern society.

c) Greek Fire
A devastating incendiary weapon used by the Byzantine Empire, capable of igniting hips and armies. Beware the flames!

d) Bessemer Forge

The Bessemer Forge unlocked the true potential of steel, allowing for its mass production n an unprecedented scale.



2. Building Descriptions

Write a very short (<20 word) description lines for the following Three Kingdoms China-era buildings:

a) Tea Parlour
Unwind from the demands of duty and relish a moment of peace while enjoying a warm cup of tea.

b) Trading Port
Trade is the lifeblood of a nation, exchanging goods, services and ideas to nurture growth and prosperity.

c) Confucian Temple
The path of a virtuous and moral character is the foundation for a happy and harmonious life.

d) Conscription Office
Young souls are called to serve their kingdom, at the cost of the ultimate sacrifice: their freedom
