Warhammer Total War Faction Descriptions
Amidst the Northern tundra of the Old World, lies the realm of Kislev, a bastion of humanity perched on the brink of the Chaos Wastelands. Ever since its inception, Kislev was fated to fend off the encroaching hordes of Chaos, and for countless generations, its fierce warriors have laid down their lives in the face of overwhelming odds. Their hearts burn with a warmth that defies the frigid winds, and even in these dire times, the people of this land are as unbreakable as the ice that surrounds them.
1. Write a faction description for Kislev of no more than 100 words.
2. Write a faction description for the Ogre Kingdom of approximately 350 words.
Towering over even the tallest of Men, the Ogres are a race of massive, hulking creatures whose immense strength is only matched by their insatiable appetite. In Ogre culture, the strong quite literally devour the weak, and this brutal ideology has shaped their society into one of constant competition, where only the strong survive.
It would be unfair to say that the Ogres have always been driven by their endless hunger. Thousands of years ago, they basked in a fertile bountiful land until their ancient home was obliterated by a comet. This tragedy claimed the lives of two-thirds of the Ogre population, traumatising the survivors deeply. So much so, that the impact zone of the comet became the sole deity of the Ogres, simply known as the Great Maw. An all-consuming entity that represents the endless hunger of their people.
The few survivors of this tragedy migrated to the west, where they carved out savage kingdoms within the valleys of the Mountains of Mourn. Today, Hundreds of Ogre tribes roam these lands, living a nomadic lifestyle, each led by a powerful Warlord. These Ogres follow a strict hierarchy within their tribe, decided by the two core aspects of their culture: eating and fighting. The large and fat are respected, while the weak are shunned, and this philosophy ensures that the Ogre Tribe remains strong.
Though outsiders may view the Ogres as mindless brutes, they actually possess a keen sense of trade and commerce, and they are open to dealing with other races, often in exchange for food or other valuable resources. Some Ogres have even chosen to become mercenaries for other factions, though their loyalty is far from absolute, and they will easily betray and devour their allies the moment their source of food and riches runs dry.

Historical Total War Faction Descriptions
Amidst the barren Sahara and the life-giving Nile River, lies our timeless realm of Egypt, a cradle of civilisation that has endured the ravages of time. In an era of intolerance and religious wars, Egypt stands out as a bastion of harmony, where diverse cultures, languages and even religions can coexist together. The ruling dynasty, the Mamluks, are Sunni Muslims, yet the Egyptian realm welcomes all faiths, including Jews and Christians. This open-mindedness has led to a vibrant culture, a thriving economy, and a fertile ground for scientific knowledge and advancement.
As a crucial gateway between Africa, Asia and Europe, Egypt’s bustling cities are rich centres of trade and commerce, brimming with merchants and artisans from all corners of the world. The great city of Cairo, the jewel of the Nile, is a busy Metropolis, whose bazaars overflow with rich spices, precious silks, and glittering jewels from far-off lands. Yet as the winds of change sweep across the world, the Mamluks must remain ever vigilant and adaptable to the challenges that loom on the horizon. The Berber tribes to the West pose a constant threat, while other powerful Muslim realms, such as the Turks could also hinder Egyptian expansion, which means that any conquest would need to be consolidated quickly and effectively. To the northeast, the kingdom of Jerusalem remains a seething hotbed of religious tension, with the spectre of a Catholic invasion looming large across the Mediterranean.
Despite the daunting challenges that lie before Egypt, the indomitable spirit of its people together with its strategic location makes it a formidable power. With the right leadership, Egypt can once again rise to become a dominant force, expanding its influence and consolidating its power across the Middle-East and beyond. Whether through military might
or cultural diplomacy, Egypt has the potential to become one of the mightiest empires of the
era, whose name shall endure for centuries to come.

The Dutch Republic is a small yet powerful nation whose flourishing economy is the envy of the world. The winds of trade carry the Dutch flag to every corner of the globe, and their mastery of the seas is unmatched, allowing them to control important sea routes and establish colonies around the world. Their ambition has raised tension with their traditional enemies, the French and the English, and the Dutch must carefully balance diplomacy and military might to maintain their independence. While the Dutch are officially a Protestant nation, they are known for religious tolerance, welcoming Jews and Catholics alike.
